Chelsea footballer, Marcos Alonso, has praised the skills of his fellow teammate, Nigerian international, Victor Moses.
The 26-year-old Spaniard told Chelsea’s official website that himself and Moses have great chemistry when playing together, and that they both understand what the other wants to do without too much explaining.
“…There was no need for us to talk to each other before about what we were going to do. A lot of games he goes more forward and I maybe stay more at the back, but that also depends on how the other team plays and it’s good to have variation and different options,” he said.
Both Alonso and Moses play in the backline for Chelsea – Alonso as a left wing back or wing back, and Moses as right wing back or winger.
Alonso continued, saying that Moses is an asset to Chelsea:
“…Victor is doing a great job and hopefully we can keep helping the team as we have been doing in the previous games,” he said.
Moses signed with Chelsea in 2012, where he spent one season with the team, after which he was loaned to Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United before returning to Chelsea for the 2016/2017 season.
He is also a very accomplished international footballer, and has gained more than 20 caps for the Super Eagles since he made his international debut in 2012.
