Check out some of the strangest, most outrageous celebrity baby name choices:

Famous Celebs You Didn’t Know Were Born Outside of the US

All too often we believe that all, famous, Hollywood celebs were born and bred in the good ol’ US of A.

However, sometimes some of our favourite celebs were born and raised elsewhere, only to get their big break in Hollywood and go on to entertain to us nonetheless.

Here are some of our favourite celebs that you might not have known were born and raised in a different country.

Keanu Reeves

The ‘Matrix’ star may be a staple in American movies for the past 20 years, but the actor was, in fact, born in Beirut, Lebanon.

Born to a British mother and Chinese-Hawaiian-American father, Keanu lived in Australia, New York and eventually settled in Canada.

Mila Kunis

Mila is Ukrainian! The ‘Black Swan’ beauty was born in the Ukraine and lived there until she was 7 years old.

Her family then moved to the US, where she learnt to speak English. She can still speak Russian fluently.

Nina Dobrev

Much like Mila Kunis, ‘The Vampire Diaries’ star was born in northern Europe.

Born in Bulgaria, Nina’s family relocated to Canada when she was only two years old. This, however, did not stop the star from learning a host of different languages.

Nina is fluent in her mother-tongue of Bulgarian, French and, of course, English.

Tommy Lee

Pamela Anderson’s ex and Motley Crue rocker, Tommy Lee, was actually born in the Greek capital of Athens.

His mother was a beauty queen from Greece and his father was a US Serviceman. The couple and Lee relocated to California when he was only one.

Charlize Theron

This may be an obvious one for all Africans, but many Americans are still shocked to find out that Oscar-winning actress, Charlize Theron, was born and raised in South Africa.

Charlize left South Africa for America when she was 16 and hasn’t looked back since.

However, she does still speak Afrikaans – which is her mother-tongue – especially to her mother, Gerda, who lives with her in the US.

Tom Hiddleston Opens Up About Relationship with Taylor Swift

British actor and serious heart-throb, Tom Hiddleston, has finally opened up about his whirlwind romance with pop superstar, Taylor Swift.

The two seemed inseparable and were quickly dubbed ‘Hiddleswift’ by the media.

Tom and Taylor briefly dated towards the end of last year, and while they seemed seriously in love – to the point where they even met each other’s parents – it wasn’t meant to last, and the two called it quits after only 3 months of dating.

In the latest issue of GQ Magazine, Hiddleston opens up about his relationship with Swift, insisting that their romance was real and not a publicity stunt as many critics speculated.

“Of course it was real,” Tom told the magazine.

He continued, saying that Taylor is an incredible woman and that they genuinely fell in love with each other.

“Taylor is an amazing woman…She’s generous and kind and lovely, and we had the best time,” he said.

However, while Tom may still hold Taylor in a high regard, the interviewer asked Tom why things then came to an end.

As is a standard celebrity answer, Tom said that their hectic schedules and the fact that their relationship was so closely watched by the media, ultimately caused them to call it off.

“A relationship in the limelight…A relationship always takes work. And it’s not just the limelight. It’s everything else [sic],” he said.

Now, of course, the question on everyone’s lips is whether or not Taylor will write a breakup song about Hiddleswift.

Lady Gaga Kills It at Super Bowl LI Halftime Show

It’s safe to say that Lady Gaga is one of the most successful and talented performers of our time. Whether she is wearing a meat dress to an award show, or belting out a ballad, you always know that when Gaga’s around, you’re sure to be entertained.

The same can be said for Gaga’s performance at the Super Bowl LI Halftime Show on Sunday.

Gaga performed at the major sporting event, held in Houston, Texas, this year, to a worldwide audience of close to 120 million – and she definitely did not disappoint.

Gaga started her performance on the rooftop of the stadium, and opened with an acoustic version of the American folk song, ‘God Bless America’, which then lead into another American classic, ‘This Land Is Your Land’.

But Gaga being Gaga, of course this was no ordinary acoustic performance of American classics. As Gaga stood, perched on the rooftop, singing her heart out, a group of over 100 drones danced behind her, lighting up the sky and eventually forming the American flag and lighting up in blue, red and white colours.

Then, the biggest moment of the show happened: Gaga jumped off the roof of the stadium, and literally flew across the audience whilst being held up by suspension wires that eventually let her down gently on the stage.

Mother Monster herself then burst into a medley of her all-time greatest hits, including ‘Poker Face’, ‘Just Dance’ and the acceptance anthem, ‘Born This Way’.

After performing more of her dance hits, Gaga sat down at a piano where she belted her latest hit single, ‘Million Reasons’. It was also here that the 29-year-old gave a shout out to her mom and dad.

Gaga danced and spun and did more than a few costume changes during her performance – an incredible feat to witness.

She performed with passion and determination, and her unmistakable voice resonated through the audience and the entire stadium. No wonder people are hailing her performance as one of the best Halftime Show performances of all time.

You go, Gaga!

Pharrell Williams and Wife Are Parents To Triplets!

Pharrell Williams and wife, Helen Lasichanh, have added three more souls to their beautiful family, after Helen gave birth to triplets in January.

‘The Voice’ judge and his wife of four years are already parents to 8-year-old, Rocket Williams, and we’re sure he is just as excited as his parents to add three more siblings to the household.

A representative for Pharrell confirmed the news to Vanity Fair magazine yesterday, simply saying that “the family is healthy and happy”.

Helen and Pharrell revealed that they were expecting in September last year at a Chanel No. 5 dinner party, where she walked the red carpet with her blossoming baby bump.

Neither Pharrell nor Helen has ever made it public that they were expecting triplets. However, their joint publicist announced the news.

Triplets can be a handful, especially having an 8-year-old to boot!

Good luck, and congratulations, Pharrell and Helen! We can’t wait to catch a sneak peak of the beautiful babies!

Chrissy Teigen Clarifies: ‘I’m Not Pregnant!’

Outspoken supermodel, and our favourite Twitter-queen, Chrissy Teigen, has set the record straight after rumours started doing the rounds that she and husband, John Legend, is expecting their second child together.

“And no, I am not pregnant” Chrissy said in a tweet on Monday – letting all her followers know that she is not going to be a mother for the second time anytime soon.

Chrissy and John are already parents to baby Luna, who was born in April last year.

The rumours started over the past weekend at the SAG Awards, when Chrissy dropped a comment that made fans and critics alike wonder if she is, in fact, with child.

While on the red carpet, a journalist for Entertainment Tonight, asked Chrissy about the couple’s future, second baby.

“Oh my God, a little boy is next for sure!,” Chrissy said.

This prompted people to ask how the couple could know the sex of their second child if they’re not pregnant.

Chrissy then went to Twitter to explain it all:

“Since this is coming up again, I said our next baby would be a boy because that is the embryo we have left. A boy. So. Yeah,” she tweeted.

Chrissy and John made use of IVF treatment to fall pregnant with baby Luna, and will make use of the fertility treatment again for their second child. Thus, this is how they know that it will be a boy.

Chrissy has long since been open about her struggles with fertility. She said last year that she and John would’ve had kids years ago, had they not have to deal with fertility issues.

Our favourite couple may not be pregnant yet, but we sure will be excited to see another Legend join the family!

Zooey Deschanel Confirms Second Pregnancy

Our favourite quirky girl, Zooey Deschanel, has confirmed that she is expecting her second baby with husband, Jacob Pechenik.

The couple made the announcement this week and, surprisingly, made another announcement that fans were certainly not aware of!

Zooey and Jacob revealed that they got married in secret in August of 2015. That’s close to two years of keeping a secret!

The couple are already parents to 18-month-old, Elsie Otter, who was born in July 2015.

Speaking about baby number two on Jimmy Kimmel, Zooey said that the hardest part about being pregnant, is the restrictions on food. She said that there are so many things you can’t have as a pregnant woman, that it drove her insane.

“You can’t eat so many things when you’re pregnant! If I was vegan, I’d just be like … ohhh,” she told Kimmel.

Ironically enough, Zooey used to be a vegan. However, her allergies to eggs, dairy, wheat gluten and other foods made it hard to maintain a vegan diet and stay healthy.

She continued, telling Kimmel that she really hates not being able to have coffee or wine – and let’s be honest, what woman doesn’t crave coffee or wine!?

“You can’t have sushi. You can’t have cheese that tastes good. You can have a little bit [of coffee], but I would have, like, four cups a day. And now I can have a half cup, which is a joke! It’s a total joke!…you can’t have alcohol. I miss that, I like wine,” she said.

Congratulations, Zooey and Jacob!

Gavin Rossdale Opens Up About Gwen Stefani Divorce

Gwen Stefani’s ex-husband, musician, Gavin Rossdale, has opened up about his divorce from the singer and how he feels about her now – and it’s not what you might think…

Speaking to The Sun’s Fabulous magazine, Rossdale said that, while the couple may be divorced, he still has a lot of fond memories of their relationship and that he still thinks Gwen is incredible.

“…We had 20 years together and that in itself is pretty incredible. It’s a lifetime. I still think she’s incredible,” he told the magazine.

Gwen and Gavin were married for 13 years and were together for 20 years. They also have three sons together – Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2.

Gwen filed for divorce from the Bush frontman in August of 2015.

While neither of them have ever commented on exactly what lead to the divorce, various sources have claimed that Gavin had an affair with the couple’s nanny, which then prompted Gwen to file for divorce.

Gavin said that getting divorced was one of the most painful things he has had to endure, but that he wanted to remain ‘solid’ for the kids.

“…For me, it was about being solid for them, and silent but respectful of Gwen…that’s what I’ll be forever,” he said.

Gavin said that he is still single and that there is no one special in his life just yet.

Gwen, on the other hand, has been dating country singer Blake Shelton for more than a year now after the two met on The Voice, where they both acted as coaches on the reality television singing competition.
